Track 2, More Than Words

So as our relationship progressed, we got close to that l word but couldn't quite spit it out and we flew to Michigan to meet his family and go to one of his good friend's weddings, so I could meet all the friends as well.
Their wedding favor was a cd and so between wedding and reception we popped that cd in and that is where we got our next song, which turned out being the song we played when we were washing each others feet at our wedding.

It's not always about the saying I love you, it's about how you treat each other, it's about serving one another, it's about not being selfish, it's just...

...More Than Words.

Saying I love you
Is not the words I want to hear from you
Its not that I want you
Not to say, but if you only knew
How easy it would be to show me how you feel
More than words is all you have to do to make it real
Then you wouldnt have to say that you love me
Cos Id already know

What would you do if my heart was torn in two
More than words to show you feel
That your love for me is real
What would you say if I took those words away
Then you couldnt make things new
Just by saying I love you

More than words

Now Ive tried to talk to you and make you understand
All you have to do is close your eyes
And just reach out your hands and touch me
Hold me close dont ever let me go
More than words is all I ever needed you to show
Then you wouldnt have to say that you love me
Cos Id already know

What would you do if my heart was torn in two
More than words to show you feel
That your love for me is real
What would you say if I took those words away
Then you couldnt make things new
Just by saying I love you

More than words.
Truly His,

We both have always loved the story of Jesus washing his disciples feet...it was an uncommon act of love and a picture of a true servants heart. We felt that washing each others feet @ our wedding was a perfect way of expressing to each other & friends and family that we would serve one another for the rest of our lives. It is not a common thing to do at weddings but we that just made us love it even more! =]

Hope I explained it well enough, ask any more questions if you need! I enjoy it!
