An Attempt & a Mountaintop

So although it's not Friday I want to praise my husband for just being the love of my life. If ever two people were made for each other it was He and I. I could never put into words how much I love him, but I promised I would spend the rest of my life trying and here is yet another attempt...

As the first few years in newlyweds lives usually are pretty hard, we have followed suit in most ways. Financially we are finally getting control back after bad decisions or learning opportunities, as far as communication we have traveled miles, he uses more words and I walk away less often and have calmed my loud voice b/c he has started listening more, as for an organized household, yeah I'm much more of an organized mess kind of gal and he leans toward the OCD neat freak we are finding middle ground and it feels just as good as I thought it would be if not better...life is good simply because I have Nathan by my side. He is faithful to me, and loves me unconditionally and unashamedly...it does a lot to me to hear the nice things he says about when I'm not around and when it really doesn't matter...I would never know what he talked about at work if it weren't for all his co-workers wanting to meet me "b/c Nate just talks about you all the time!" it makes me blush and I tell him to make sure he doesn't annoy anyone...lol but it blesses me in a way I could never explain to have someone be so proud of me that isn't a parent...my heart swells with happiness.

So as I was saying things have been pretty rough, but we have been making leaps and bounds spiritually this year, rekindling that fire in us for God that was there when we first met and we allowed to slip away and our focus changed to surviving, our focus switched to the storm outside our plane called life and we are finally focusing on the right things and it's making SUCH a difference in our life I can't even begin to tell you!

We are moving next month to Lakeland, found an apartment that is the same size as ours but with more windows for like $250 less than what we pay now! I got a job down there and started this week, it's amazing AND it's doing something I LOVE take pictures! It's so inspiring and thrilling to start doing something you love. Then this last Sunday I met up with a gal at church that I found on facebook, anyway we were talking about her kids and she mentioned her daughter played soccer I immediately lit up, I LOVE soccer. I told her and was like yeah I was captain of my team when I was in high school I totally love it! She said OH! our high school is looking for a girls coach! I laughed...but am actually thinking about it! Can you imagine me getting out of retail taking pictures, coaching soccer, and singing in choir! Doing all the things I love!?!? Wow. Just the fact that the opportunities are there makes me smile at God. Sigh a big sigh of relief and thank him that my mountaintop is coming. I'm ready, boy am I ready.

Meanwhile Nate and I put into to transfer to part time and to the same location at Disney so we could work together, I'm excited about that, I think it would be a LOT of fun. He just put in his application for his transfer with the OG today, and it's literally within walking distance from our apartments, it's amazing how much gas we are going to save, b/c we are right across the street from church and my work as well! YAY!!! Making our one car workable yet again.
